In turbulent geopolitical and economic times, the EU is most effective and impactful when it shows unity and alignment at the international stage as well as on its path forward. The escalating competitive pressures from China, the mounting security challenges, and the reliance on energy imports are significant concerns that necessitate a united European response. A robust net-zero agenda that addresses these challenges can foster convergence across the EU and help to navigate the moving political landscape.
We follow the dynamics of the European Council, EU presidencies and the interaction of political priorities (energy, security, competitiveness, defence, prosperity, social cohesion). with the need to transition to climate neutrality by 2050 at the latest. Strategic Perspectives focuses on the socio-economic angle and aims to engage all sides of the political spectrum in a transition that will strengthen the European project. We provide expertise, support and organise meetings and events.
We engage with EU institutions and Member States as key decision-makers, we cultivate excellent connections with national capitals. From Paris to Berlin, Warsaw to Madrid, Sofia to Copenhagen, we work directly with governments, think tanks, businesses and other stakeholders across the EU to propose and gather support around policy solutions that work for all of Europe.
