She is the main contact point for media requests to the think tank. In this role, Mirta oversees the communication strategy, acting as the guardian of corporate communications, branding and identity. She monitors national, EU and global narratives on climate, energy and industry, ensuring that Strategic Perspectives delivers impactful messages, also across social media and its website.

With a background in both European and international organisations, Mirta specialises in developing and implementing effective communication strategies that drive positive change. Prior to joining Strategic Perspectives, she served as a Communications and Media Coordinator at the European Women’s Lobby, leading initiatives that supported advocacy and campaigning efforts for Europe’s largest women’s rights organisation.

Her experience also includes a Schuman traineeship with the European Parliament’s Women’s Rights and Gender Equality (FEMM) Committee, where she contributed to drafting internal gender mainstreaming guidelines. Mirta has worked with Women Against Violence Europe (WAVE) and the UN Major Group for Children and Youth (UNMGCY) and supported local NGOs in Croatia.

Mirta holds a Master of Global Policy Studies from the Lyndon Baines Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin, where she also earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communications. As a former athlete, she now channels her competitive spirit into board games and pub quizzes.
