Marin joined Strategic Perspectives as an Energy Analyst in December 2025.
In this role, he helps shape and deliver the organisation’s work on electrification, the phase-out of fossil gas, and the system-wide reforms needed to build a competitive, secure, and net-zero European economy.
Previously, Marin worked as a Climate Resilience Specialist at ICF in New York City, where he advised major US energy utilities and public-sector clients on climate risks, decarbonisation strategies, adaptation pathways, and investment planning. In this capacity, he led resilience assessments, supported policy and planning work for government authorities, and designed finance and delivery frameworks for international partners seeking to strengthen climate resilience.
Before joining ICF, Marin served as a Policy Officer at Institut Montaigne, where he spearheaded the think tank’s climate and energy portfolio. He worked on a broad range of issues, including industrial decarbonization and carbon pricing, as well as agriculture and energy affordability. Prior to that, he also gained experience at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) in Paris and the World Bank in Washington, DC.
Marin holds a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts from King’s College London. He speaks native French and fluent English, with knowledge of Spanish. He enjoys reading, travelling, contemporary history, and running.
